Hi it's a bit of a weird req but i was wondering if you could do a reading of yg (the person) & the relationship he tries to install w/ his artists (in general). I've noticed that he doesn't shy away from expressing his favoritism and dislikes, the latter feeling random at times when said artist could be profitable to him. Also most of his former artists seem drained or like a shell of themselves once out, whereas ex-jyp singers seems to exude freedom & are full of creativity/ambitions (for ex)
Hi! That’s actually a really good question lol, feel free to send any more questions that are similar to this. 4oC rev, 6oS rev, 3oS, 2oW rev, overall KoC rev. This tells me that his relationship with his artists is very disconnected. There’s almost nothing there. It’s almost like he feels awkward about getting close to them because if he’s too attached it’ll be hard for him to deliver criticism. But he has this inner conflict and believes that extending compliments to them will be something that can make up for his working them so hard. But it’s not enough since they’re all human beings. He’s just kind of like a lost father that’s trying to understand their kid when their kid is in their 50s, rather than from the beginning of their life. He has pretty good knowledge of how to make the technical aspect work, but the human aspect is severely lacking. So he just sort of assumes that they’ll adapt and keep it pushing in the sort of “be quiet and keep your head down” fashion.
